“I got my pup from Jen about 6 years ago. He was my first presa, actually first dog in general, so I was hoping I wasn’t getting in over my head. His temperament is perfectly balanced and he has grown to be such a good dog. I was impressed that he already knew “sit” on command when I got him at 9 weeks. The socialization and basic early training these pups receive really does make a difference. On cue, he will jump up ready to play/walk/hike, anything 24/7 it’s crazy. I get comments on him every time I take him out for a walk. Long story short I highly recommend cabeza grande kennels.”

“We have had our puppy about a week, she is awesome. Very sweet, she’s always checking everything and everyone out. Very playful, super smart. Loves hugs and ear rubs. Even though she’s a puppy, you can tell how strong she will be, my son says there no finesse in her, lol. She will jump right in your lap when sitting on the couch. We have been working with her, she listens very well, she sits, lays down, knows what, no means. “I can’t say enough about my awesome experience with Cabeza Grande Kennel! I’d heard very positive things about their breeding program over the years and after deciding I really wanted another Presa, I inquired about future litters. I didn’t know when I would be ready, but I quickly fell hard for the excellent current pairings and was curious to see what they produced. Jen kept me informed through the weeks on each. When one of the litters I had my eye on, hit the age to start picking, a dark brindle boy, really stood out. He was not the original favorite of mine, but something told me to go for it when I saw his photo and heard about his outgoing temperament. Being a trainer, I’m very selective in regards to confidence. Jen was honest and professional from day one. Transport was arranged with a fabulous business and that process was also 10/10. I’ve been extremely happy with “Gotham” and couldn’t be more excited to see what adventures we have, together! He’s very striking, fearless, food driven and has already bonded hard and stolen hearts. “It’s easy to get overwhelmed when first getting into the Presa Canario breed. So much differing information and most kennels claim to have the “real Presa” bloodlines or confirmation. We knew we needed a certain type of dog because we have five children and own a petting zoo, so lots of kids and animals around all the time. I did my research into the breeding programs of as many breeders as I could find information on, and settled on CGK for my wife’s service dog. I really liked their website, transparency, responsiveness, and philosophies about breeding and this breed in particular. Everyone in the family absolutely fell in love with our new puppy, but you never really KNOW if you’ve made the right decision until later on. Well I have all the ‘proof’ I need to know that CGK was the right call. We used a trainer here in Texas that has been pretty well connected to the Presa world for many years. When we went to pick Odin up, the trainers had nothing but the best of things to say about him. Both of these trainers have had Presas and trained numerous others over the years, and they ranted and raved about how we could go any direction we wanted with our puppy’s training. They could not believe how level headed he was but still alert, excellent prey drive and food drive, incredibly intelligent, and eager to please. The best part for me is that one of these trainers even partners with a local Presa kennel and he told me multiple times, “that’s why you buy a dog from Jen, she has the most well rounded pups in the industry.” I don’t think he could give a better compliment than that. We will definitely own more Cabeza Grande dogs in the future!!!”

“I purchased a brindle approx 15 months ago. The whole process was very smooth. He was shipped to NJ with cropped ears. The dog I received is now a healthy 140lbs. He is a total family dog. I have a 3 and 6 year old, nothing but a lush around them. The temperament is incredible. Never a snarle when disciplining. The dog can be touched while eatting or have a toy removed from his mouth.
